Overview

As the manager of this building, you are the only person with the ability to assess the tower's running and make any expansions. Your duty is to expand the building and its population while keeping occupant stress as low as possible. Your tenants are highly susceptible to stress: If their stress levels get too high, they will leave. To avoid that, you must ensure the placement of tower items such as offices and restaurants, transportation like elevators, and facilities like securities.

By increasing your building's population and keeping them satisfied, your tower's ranking will rise. If your building's population reaches 15,000 people across 100 floors, you can build a cathedral on the top floor and a couple may choose to hold their wedding ceremony there one weekend. Only then will your building truly be worthy of the title "The Tower", and you may even bear witness to a glorious miracle!

If You Build It, They Will Come

You have the power to expand the building inside your iPad any way you like, constructing offices, condos, fast-food joints, restaurants and other facilities in your space. Link them all together with elevators and other modes of transport, and people will start flocking to live in your tower, filling your coffers with rent money and funding further expansion.

Protagonists of the Game: The Occupants

Every occupant in your building has their own unique personality and daily routine. To you, they are extremely vital customers -- and also your only source of building income. Making them wait for their everyday needs causes them a great deal of stress; when they can't take it any longer, they will leave your building, never to be seen again. To keep them happy, you'll have to keep close tabs on their demands and build all the transport facilities they need. Never keep your valuable tenants waiting -- that's your first and utmost priority.

Front and Back

The "front" of your building is the offices, restaurants, and other facilities directly used by your tenants. Your building's front is what earns you your income, while the "rear" -- the infrastructure supporting your building's operation -- keeps everything in one piece. How should the building's elevator system operate? How should security and maintenance be handled? Effective placement and operation of your building's rear infrastructure is another vital aspect of your job.
